What I said is that there isn't currently a way to establish a
tunnel with any ssh product on PalmOS, and there aren't any vnc clients
that can establish a tunneled connection on PalmOS (that I've found).

However, Palm has indicated that future versions will be based on
Linux, and they haven't decided on backporting to existing models.
A Linux-based PDA would have access to the functionality you're
looking for.  As far as I've been able to research, that functionality
is available on the Sharp Zaurus, so porting it to a Palm Linux
implementation shouldn't be too difficult (hopefully).
