Message-ID: <20071003023452.GA12919@limpoc.com> Is anybody able to still build pssh from source? I would like to rebuild to support the up and down arrow keys on the Treo 700P (up=0x000B, down=0x000C) but my attempts at even setting up a build environment, peal, etc.. have been big failures... Any help would be most welcome. eric From pssh at richardfearn.co.uk Wed Oct 3 15:16:25 2007 From: pssh at richardfearn.co.uk (Richard Fearn) Date: Wed, 03 Oct 2007 20:16:25 +0100 Subject: [pssh-users] building pssh? I built it about a month ago using Cygwin on Windows XP. I did try to build it on Linux a while ago (can't remember which distribution) but it didn't work. > Any help would be most welcome. I'll find my instructions and post them to the list shortly. You can view the post here: http://richardfearn.co.uk/2007/10/04/building-pssh-using-cygwin/ Any comments are welcome; I can update the information if needed. All the files for doing this are still available, except (I think) for the old SDK - unless you get it from an unofficial source ;-) Any information that allows other people to get the SDK, or to build pssh with the new SDK, would be appreciated. So far, my recompiles have all resulted in binaries that crash my device -- hopefully my luck will change shortly. >All the files for doing this are still available, except (I think) for >the old SDK - unless you get it from an unofficial source ;-) I Googled for the filename you provided: http://www.caslsoft.com/gcc_tools/palmos-sdk-5.0r3-1.tar.gz seems to be a valid archive, so now mirrored here: http://tris.net/misc/palmos-sdk-5.0r3-1.tar.gz hope this helps, Tris From pssh at richardfearn.co.uk Fri Oct 5 13:28:39 2007 From: pssh at richardfearn.co.uk (Richard Fearn) Date: Fri, 05 Oct 2007 18:28:39 +0100 Subject: [pssh-users] Building pssh using Cygwin In-Reply-To: <20071004213049.GD13416@ethereal.net> References: <47053E83.5030501@richardfearn.co.uk> <20071004213049.GD13416@ethereal.net> Message-ID: <47067447.70002@richardfearn.co.uk> Hi Tris, > I Googled for the filename you provided: > http://www.caslsoft.com/gcc_tools/palmos-sdk-5.0r3-1.tar.gz > seems to be a valid archive, so now mirrored here: > http://tris.net/misc/palmos-sdk-5.0r3-1.tar.gz Yes, I googled for it too, out of curiosity... I didn't want to put it on my own site due to this part in the licence: "...you are not permitted to... distribute... the Software" Anyway, the SDK encourages people to write software for the Palm platform. Palm should be pleased that it's being mirrored :-) Regards Richard Fearn From eamon at eamondaly.com Tue Oct 9 22:53:29 2007 From: eamon at eamondaly.com (Eamon Daly) Date: Tue, 9 Oct 2007 21:53:29 -0500 Subject: [pssh-users] Treo 680 Message-ID: <03e001c80ae8$d4b45e60$6501a8c0@EDALYLAPTOP> Hey, all. There's a version of pssh with some Treo enhancements here. It should support your 5-way button. http://www.nekito.net/~dgsachs/palm/ -- Greg Parker gparker-pssh at sealiesoftware.com From diamondsw at mac.com Thu Oct 11 00:35:30 2007 From: diamondsw at mac.com (Diamond Software) Date: Wed, 10 Oct 2007 23:35:30 -0500 Subject: [pssh-users] Treo 680 In-Reply-To: <18189.31219.958575.882232@kaazh.pair.com> References: <03e001c80ae8$d4b45e60$6501a8c0@EDALYLAPTOP> <18189.31219.958575.882232@kaazh.pair.com> Message-ID: On Oct 10, 2007, at 8:18 PM, Greg Parker wrote: > There's a version of pssh with some Treo enhancements here.
