Hey Frank, I was just thinking, it is easier to digest if you create a
summary of the ideas of an article, e.g., and maybe intersperse a few
relevant quotes or paragraphs from the articles to illustrate the ideas, and
then give a link to the full text for us to go to if we want to pursue the
ideas. Such abstracts can be a good springboard of conversation without
having to sift through long articles. Or perhaps create a summary of your
interests in the materials and why the article sparked your interest and
post it before the following material, so we have a context.
The other thing I would do in the future, is post the text as text rather
than html. I don't know if everyone receives html email, so the articles may
be very hard to read in raw format. I haven't turned off html, but many of
us who read a lot of emails prefer plain text so we can skim more easily.
