Just over forty years ago Eric turned up at The South Western Hotel.
Richmond, Surrey, UK  with his Kay Jazz guitar in tow. He auditioned for the
job with The Yardbirds & included the Chuck Berry duck walk for the first
and last time in his long career. Having passed muster,  he played his first
gig  at The Star Hotel, Broad Green , Croydon on Saturday October 19th.

The rest is history
