i took the suggesstion of playing rwtk and beano back to back, but i added
in a third album after beano, from the 70's, EC was here.. So you get 60's
era, 70s era and latter era ec blues playing.

all in all, it sounds like two different guitarists.. the rwtk EC obviously
uses a strat, but it's not the guitar choice that makes it sound different,
it's the phrasing, the soloing , the architecture of the solos, all good,
but then once you pop in beano it's like wow.. the 70's live album is
impressive not only cause it showcases EC in a live setting, but he's playing
the blues, and you can hear him sound comfortable, like he's in his second
skin..

i will try FTC and Beano and RWTK.. I am of the opinion that for the FTC era
you are better off hearing a live show recording to get the full effect of
his playing during those amazing years..
