Well, EC himself has been quoted saying, that most of
the seventies he spent in drunken haze and the shows
he played were done mostly as he puts it "on cruise
control". He said, that he was on an extended holiday
and touring was a way to finance the holidays.

In my opinion the autopilot comments on his
performances during the 90's and 2000s are totally
unfair.
