I laughed hard on that sentence! When I read DeltaNick's first email I thought
"Yeah, can't argue with that. I agree." To me it was like saying "The sky is
blue." Pretty run-of-the-mill, who-doesn't-know-that kind of feeling, but I was
amused that he thought to send it to the digest. I really thought it was maybe
some late night, had-a-few-too-many kind of thing :-)

You certainly generated a lot more discussion than I thought would ever come of
it!

Still amused -
Von :-)

I'm not taking issue. I had a private online discussion with another
subscriber, and we discussed this. So, I sent it to the Slowhand Digest to
see if it could generate discussion. Nothing more, nothing less. Certainly,
I'm glad that EC has become a singer and songwriter. And he's certainly been
playing much more and better guitar on the current tour than in many years.
There are also a few who've commented that it would been great for him to
include some of that great guitar playing on his albums. Interesting
thought.

may have? <<

Let's not get a wedgie over this. I think you misinterpret me here. I don't
want Clapton to remain anything. He can do what he wants, it's a free
country. Clapton's a great guitar player, my favorite. I like to hear him
play guitar. I'm merely trying to generate discussion.
