The great retrospective of Tom Dowd's career "Tom Dowd and the Language 
of Music", broadcast on PBS, will be released on DVD August 24. The DVD 
will have additional footage as well as 5.1 surround sound audio. This 
was a great tribute to a great recording pioneer, a worthy addition to 
any DVD collection.............................T
