I have just mailed four sets of Belfast (3 to the U.S. and 1 to N.Z.) at the
local Post Office. As before, I had to fill in a customs declaration with
name, address, telephone number, description of goods, value and sign it.
However, this time I also had to show ID, my drivers licence number was put
on the computer and then a bright orange sticker was added to the items
stating "ID Recorded".
Still, until they wave a big stick, I'll keep plodding along. That is
unless I've underestimated the authorities Downunder and they've compiled a
dossier and are about to strike. I will now erase all refernces to all
Slowhanders from my hard drive, just in case.
Seriously, the bit about the P.O. was genuine.
