CREAM'S HISTORICAL 'DISRAELI GEARS' GETS DELUXE REISSU
The landmark 1967 album by Cream, Disraeli Gears, will be reissued as a deluxe two-CD set on September 28. The digitally remastered collection will include numerous bonus tracks, demos, live recordings and other rarities. The package will include both stereo and mono mixes of the album along with a 24-page booklet of photographs and an essay on the legendary band's history.
Cream featured Eric Clapton, singer-bassist Jack Bruce and drummer Ginger Baker. Disc one is the stereo version of "Gears," and also includes the outtakes "Lawdy Mama and a previously un-issued version of the song "Blue Condition" with Clapton vocals, along with demos of "We're Going Wrong," "Swlabr" and three songs recorded during the sessions but appearing on later releases: "Weird Of Hermiston," "The Clearout" and "Hey Now Princess."
