Barry,

Thanks for this.  Personally I prefer to stay on Slowhand since I believe
there is room for both trading and discussion.  One can just pass on topics
that are not of interest (e.g. trading, EAC!!)  (Although I use MS Outlook
where each message has to be opened individually and the message titles are
not clearly visible).  I prefer not to have to deal with two lists.

All this about the digest becoming an EC swap meet, etc.....here's the
solution.
For many months now there has been a group in Yahoo for just this reason.
Trading, vining, weeding, etc. of EC material. The existence of this group
is for this sole purpose. I would suggest anyone interested in joining
please do so; it is free. I myself sometimes trade EC material in this group
and I have not had any problems.
If all who trade on this digest would move it to this Yahoo group, there
would be a lot less clutter here, and we could go back to what this digest
is supposed to be exclusive to, the discussion of Eric Clapton.
