Hi Susan - I've seen BB when he was still into standing and playing Lucille 
for all she was worth !  I have also seen him recently doing shows such as you 
described. There is a world of difference between how BB performed say - in 
the 70's or 80's versus now - but both types of shows have their charms - I 
suspect BB's age has a lot to do with the type of show he now gives - I saw BB a 
few years ago  in Utah - LOL - and he picked up a glass - swore to the audience 
it was water - but then laughingly said - if we weren't in Utah - this glass 
would be filled with whiskey !  Buddy Guy also does a lot of talking - and 
schmoozing with the aduience in the live shows I have seen him perform over the 
last few years.
