I have played this song live for years and whenever I get ready to sing that 
verse I have to think about which version to do!Because everyone who covers 
this song has done it different than RJ anyway.
For example:
Freddie King says 1 and 1 is 2....2 and 2 is 4  Walk one time gonna walk 
some more
Blues brother's version  3 and 3 is 6  6 and 3 is 9  Give me some of yours 
I'll sell you some of mine
EC just flubbed it... but they probably figured why redo it when the rest of 
the track was so great.
