Such a great message from Hillary Todd, I agree with you on all aspects!
The big record sales or concert ticket sales don't really measure the
amount or
quality of guitars solos. ;)
One of Clapton's biggest selling album is Unplugged, I think and that doesn't
have much of those overdriven Marshall solos on it?

The ticket prices are just stupid, I agree with all on that and would be
ready
to accuse Clapton on that and hope he does some re-thinking. But then
again I'm
always ready to fly to London to see once again this wonderful and
electrifying
show.(Of course the seats ave to be great :) )
I hope he ends the tour at RAH next spring, so we'll have another meeting
with
other "fans". In the meantime I'll meet up with this great band in about a
month at the Helsinki gig.
