My Charlotte pictures are on www.slowhand.net To go directly without wading through links, go to http://home.earthlink.net/~wheelsoffire/showpict.htm

I must say, though, that my pictures pale in comparison to those taken by Sam Mangano. I hope I can make room on my website for his shots.

I plan to post a review to www.whereseric.com but here are a few comments: The Charlotte show was even better than the excellent Raleigh show. EC emerged from backstage already playing, as if he couldn't wait to start. He smiled, chatted with band members between songs and was more animated than usual. I really hope a recording of this show emerges.

Derek Trucks was also amazing. His solo during "Cocaine" was absolutely eerie, almost like a wounded animal. The crowd loved him and Allman Brothers T-shirts were everywhere.

Two very unique things happened at this show: "Anyday" was dedicated to Carl Radle, because some of his family were in attendance. As the band lined up for the final bow, Eric spotted the Heads on a Stick that Sam and I were waving. He laughed and pointed them out to Derek.

You folks in Florida are in for a treat!
