Here's something to keep in mind:
Disc 2, tracks 8 and 9 features the following tracks:
8. Cheatin' Woman
9. Nowhere To Turn
These tracks, probably recorded 25 October 1965 and broadcast 30 October 1965 on the BBC's "Saturday Club," do not feature the guitar playing of Eric Clapton. Clapton was on his "world tour" with the Glands, having left Mayall's band in August. The guitar player was probably Geoff Krivit, borrowed from Dr. K's Blues band. The tracks were probably recorded before Peter Green had talked his way into the Bluesbreakers, only to be replaced, days later in early November 1965, by a returning Eric Clapton (Mayall had promised EC his job back, if he wanted it, upon his return to the UK).
Clapton and buddies had ventured as far as Greece, where they were held against their will at a nightclub. Clapton was lucky to escape with his 1960 Gibson Les Paul guitar. But he had to leave his 2-piece Marshall amplifier (amplifier and speaker cabinet) behind. Upon his return to the UK, he bought a 1-piece Marshall combo amplifier, the one with which he recorded "Blues Breakers."
