[Slowhand] Maybe It's Because I'm "Stuck In The '60s"

Seasons Greetings Everyone!

Since the wife and I put up the Christmas lights on our home today, in 
case I don't get a chance later, I want to wish everyone the season's 
greetings (meaning Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and any other holidays 
of the season).

Because I no longer receive the Slowhand Digest in my regular e-mail, I 
view via its web site. So I know what's been going on, and I'm with 
ya'll in spirit, whenever you read it ... you too Olli. Over the past 
4-5 months, you've seen an occasional post from me, because I was able 
to subscribe and post a message or two before I was again unsubscribed. 
As you see, I'm writing to y'all from my backup AOL account. Please 
don't write to me here, as I must view this account via web browser. My 
real e-mail address is still deltanick at comcast dot net 
(deltanick at comcast.net), but I cannot receive the Slowhand Digest in my 
mailbox any longer. I don't know why. I've been in touch with the 
digest's editor, Dave Hillman. Otherwise, it's a pain in the ... elbow, 
if you know what I mean, to go through a browser. But I can do so when 
I need.

Anyway, as some of you know, I had pretty darn good seats at the 
Verizon Center, Washington, DC, back on 10 October for a pretty rockin' 
EC show. Lately I've been absorbed with my new computer, a Mac. I've 
still got my Windows machine, which serves as the family's computer. 
But a month or so back, I got a Mac for my personal home office. So, 
I've gotta get used to Mac OS X, its Unix operating system, which is 
different from the old Mac on which I began home computing some 20 
years ago, and Windows, which I use every day at home and work.

Also, I've received the new "Blues Breakers: Deluxe Edition" (aka 
"Beano DE") and will post a review one of these days, which will update 
my previous review 
(http://twtd.bluemountains.net.au/cream/Fresh/beanoreleases.html). 
Almighty Geetarz graciously (that's a word you don't see me use too 
often) has offered his stateside Geetarz web site on which to post it. 
And for those interested, here's another of my reviews on the same 
Australian web site

"Beano" (I hope to update that one too, following the "Beano DE" 
review). And no, I'm in Maryland, in the USA, not Australia.

Anyway, just wanted to let y'all know that I'm still here, and still 
reading the Slowhand Digest each and every day, even if I haven't 
posted much lately. Until next time ...
