  folks remember, genius is not always revealed when one wants it,& as far as "the road to escondido" goes, listen to the music on a true listening rig, this cd just has layers of music & nuance, reminds me of how quincey jones, or rudy van gelder(he recorded & mixed MILES DAVIS" KIND OF BLUE!! remember that one & what it did?) used to record. don`t forget dylan is doing some of his best work know,just listen. jj cale did a OUTSTANDING job of mixing this cd, to bad simon climie had to have a hand in the work. on this cd clapton finally found his big pink!! soho
