Canton, Ohio Blues Festival, June 22-23, 2007, continues to grow in stature as an up-and-coming regional Blues Festival this year featuring headliner The Robert Cray Band. Downtown Canton serves as the backdrop for this FREE concert event. The Festival opens at 11:30 a.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday with musical performances until 10 p.m. daily.

Praised by critics for his soulful vocals and instrumental artistry, Cray will be in good company when this two-day event also presents Jimmy Thackery known for his intense volley of rockin' blues guitar, and the very best local and regional blues groups and artists for all to enjoy.

Area restaurants and local concessionaires dish up great eats. Be sure to stop by the information tent to register to win great prizes!
