Clapton also performed "Driftin'" on an electric guitar at the  
Calgary show on March 26 2007.
He definitely performed this song on acoustic at the two previous  
shows I saw (Seattle and Vancouver).
I'm not a guitar expert, but the guitar used looked like an early  
Gibson electric, similar to the model used by jazz guitarist Charlie  
Christian in the 1940s.
Possibly a Gibson ES-150 archtop (but this is a guess). The guitar  
and amp combination EC used had a beautiful, distorted, warm tone.
