[Slowhand] Crossroads ticket pricing

The $1000.00 price was a mistake which TM corrected within a few minutes,  
but it was a bit scary when I first saw the price!
 
For lodging choice it's either in the city (away from venue) or stay  near 
venue (away from the city).
I'm not from Chicago, but if you are going to spend a few days before or  
after the gig, you may want to stay in the city.  Just an idea.
 
In the city there are all major hotel brands and their subsidiaries:   Hilton 
(Doubletree, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn, etc - go to _www.hilton.com_ 
(http://www.hilton.com)  or Hyatt, Marriott (has  Courtyard by Marriott), try 
Holiday Inn, House of Blues Hotel, etc. or read  through some of the posts here. I 
believe some people mentioned where they are  staying.  Also, there's a Best 
Western near the venue.  Call the  venue  (_www.toyotapark.com_ 
(http://www.toyotapark.com) )  and ask them which hotels/motels are nearby.
