Had to laugh today, read an article in The Times on the rise in popularity of the Ukelele in the UK, apparently they have become cool and are very hard to get hold of.
During the course of the article, it mentioned the usual suspects, ie George Formby, the Ukelele Orchestra, etc. then went on to say that Eric Clapton played Ukelele on the Bonzo Dog Doo-dah Band's track, 'the Intro and the Outro', yes he is credited but then so is Adolf Hitler, Quasimodo and a gorilla amongst several others, so I very much doubt that it was EC himself on there.
All this from a so-called serious newspaper!
(or are they just a little too serious and didnt get the joke?)
