I would guess its appropriate to ask at this time: Has it already
happened? Or: Will it be happening this coming Saturday? It certainly
won't be happening on Saturday, 28th July 2007. It was slated for "late"
July.

 

Why Saturday? Well, the Allman's held theirs on a Saturday - 7 Jan.
2006. There's even an album available out there - I wouldn't know
whether it's official or not, I'm not a fan. The gig is being bankrolled
by a super-duper hedge fund mogul, so the ilk would typically wind down
on a Saturday. 

 

Eric would have received half of his appearance fee - $750 000 - by 10
Feb 2007, and the balance, plus a $1 000 000 donation to a charity of
his choice (not difficult  guessing which one) on the night he appears. 

 

The Fairfield County Weekly in Connecticut has been silent since they
broke the story on 14 June, and the New York Times, who were "offered
advanced word", have not posted any substantial investigative reporter
to find out when. Where's ERIC! cited the article for a short while, but
it has since has disappeared into the netherworld. 

 

So, is there anyone out there with a coded name like Revo Ti Llor who
can say if, when or not?
