Larry King can do great interviews. Unfortunately he spends too much
time bottom feeding on O.J., Britney, and other meaningless crap. I
enjoyed his Eric interview. I thought he asked some good questions
and probed Eric, getting some good answers. Eric is so classy and
smooth. When Larry interviews "rockers," which is beyond his scope of
musical knowledge, you get some obvious neophyte questions like, "you
write your own music?"
I really laughed when Larry asked if Britney had gone to the
Crossroads Center. Come on Larry, like Eric would say anything if he
knew. His bottom feeding compulsion. And the funniest moment by far
was when he asked Eric about going out on a date with 2 women at
once, one was his current wife, Melia. Larry asked, with great
wonder, "how did you get them to do that?" I detected some envy and
admiration.
