i agree with you that the heritage guitars are fine instruments. i am aware of alot of fine players who have issues with nashville vs. kalamazoo Gibsons. however i would personally say the the quality and tone of my "Gibson Lucille" is beyond reproach for the price.

i have played many gibsons/prs/fender , and the gibson lucille of mine is #1 and exceeds my expectations. It fulfills all my needs musically. and yes, i am a serious player... fwiw

do not be fooled by the Gibson guitar,s, the quality went when they moved to Nashville in 84,the quality of the guitars stayed in Kalamazoo mi. these luthiers were the one,s that hand made all the guitar,s all of are 60,s guitar hero,s used when Gibson was in MI.these same guys stayed in MI. bought the old Gibson plant(1985) & continued to make handmade guitars, the company,"HERITAGE GUITARS",all custom & handmade. no serious player or collector,would ever have a Nashville Gibson!! for what its worth,soho
