[Slowhand] British Rocker Movies Question

Remember all those great freelance musicial movies the brits use to produce.

Wonder why nobody is producing any, instead all there doing is cranking out
DVD's of there shows.

Why can't somebody like Clapton put a story line to some of his songs and
invite some of his brit
friends in bit parts.  What a great avenue for showcaseing new work, which
probably will never get any
airplay... They could easy be podcasted to act as a trailer for the movie
itself.


Who ever saw "Son of Dracula" by Ringo, or "Clockwork Orange" or "Tommy" ?
