[Slowhand] EC Travelin' Alone

At the risk of getting some discussion going on this forum (lol), I was
wondering about the song "Travelin' Alone" currently being performed in
Clapton's set.
My best guess is that it is an obscure song originally recorded by
Melvin 'Lil Son' Jackson in the late 1940s. Judging by the lyrics, it
may also have been adapted later by Canned Heat as Big "Road Blues".
Can anyone confirm any of this?
