I'm familiar with those, and I have stuff from the period I mention. Chris Hjort, for example, unearthed an exposed LOTS of good, early sources in his book "Strange Brew" (I know, we exchanged a number of them as he was writing the book).

The author would've actually done a service if he published some of these hard-to-find sources, but he's apparently done no heavy lifting at all. Of course, Ill check the book when it comes out, but I don't really expect anything worthwhile.
