What does it mean when a record is over-produced?
It seems so easy to say that a clapton album is over-produced that all reviewers say it but they don't explain why. Didn't back home win a grammy for best engineered album. What are the tell tale signs of a compressed and digitally polished digitalized pro-tools album. What exactly are they claiming Clapton/Climie are doing to the album to sterilize it? Or is this just code for boring.
