[Slowhand] RAH 1969

Hello Slowhanders,I just bought the Delaney & Bonnie & Friends & Eric Clapton & Some More Friends & One Very Annoying Friend box set, live in 1969. The Royal Albert Hall disc was the first one I put in, and the English guy introducing the band made me cringe. I have tried to find some info on this online, but haven't been able to dig up anything. He calls the whole thing Eric Clapton & Friends, for starters. Then forgets Carl Radle, reading  from an "idiot sheet" and it's just terribly embarrassing for everyone involved. Or was it? Does anyone know anything about who and why? WHO IS THIS GUY?
The box is beautiful, though. There's a great, great picture in the booklet of the guys jamming in the back of the tour bus. Looks like a good time! I've never seen it before.
Hope the board can shed some light on this.
