Hello Slowhanders, I'm still around too, since 1998 on the list! I moved from Brazil to Canada (Toronto) where I've been keeping my career as a professional musician (songrwiter, singer wanna-be and 'guitar-little-god`:-) If there are any slowhanders from Tronto or GTA, let me know, let's go out for a beer and some good live music. My last Concerts here in Toronto: Steely Dan, Levon Helm Band, John Fogerty, Toronto Jazz Festival (Aretha Franklin, Robert Cray, Average White, Steve Cropper/Duck Dunn & Eddie Floyd, Los Lobos) and Buddy Guy! A hell of a summer, my first one in town! See you folks! PS. To try to launch off a new thread, what about the new Marsallis/Clapton collaboration??? I know jazz is not the cup of tea of some of you, but I love it and I'm really excited about this release. It's a good live following to 'Clapton' album, I've seen somee small clips shot at the concert (audience recordings only) and it sounded so good, specially Layla! Our man is streching up a little bit in the trad. jazz path, that's cool!
