I agree with Kevin wholeheartedly on both his points.
I *love* the Marsalis collaboration and the diversity of what he has released is
probably second to none for someone of his stature.

You guys aren't giving the credit due for the Wynton Marsalis collaboration.
Totally out of the box and a good mix of solos dating back to Sonny Boy
Williamson to the power solos of the 90's. And at last brass that has its own
voice but does not smother Eric.

Sure on solo albums EC is somewhat lost for a particular theme, and leaves the
cool guitar licks to the likes of Doyle, Derek and John Mayer, but I doubt his
had more diverse releases his entire career than in the last 10 years.
