A few things:
- Passing The Time isn't remixed, or a different mix at all. It's the
version that was originally released. The long version (earlier on the
disc) is the same mix, just as originally mixed, rather than with the
crossfade edit piece. I believe when the long version was discovered,
it didn't even exist as a complete mix, but rather simply what was
edited out originally (it was then edited back in for the DCC).
- The other two tracks aren't new (1992) remixes, but rather vintage
(1968) alternate mixes. The 8-track session tapes are lost, presumably
destroyed in the Atlantic Records vault fire. As such, chances are
we'll never get *new* remixes.
- I have not heard them, but at least some additional alternate mixes
do exist from the sessions. That said, they may very well be quite
similar to the released mixes.
