[Slowhand] Six Strings

Just received the Genesis book "Six-String Stories" and it is something else! Fantastic photos and side comments by Clapton on most of his  guitars. I found the section on EC's amps very interesting, since very little is ever discussed about that facet of Eric's sound. He comments on when, at rehersals, he was so impressed with Mark  Knopfler's sound, that after trying Mark's guitar he realized how much the amp contributed to MK's sound. He immediately ordered the same amp. The amp, at the time...Soldano. Beautiful packaging and attention to detail, not to mention that it's signed by the man himself. Quite a treat.
