[Slowhand] New Beano Revelation in Day by Day

It is a fantastic book though. My old copy of Roberty's "The Complete Recording Sessions 1963-1992" has become worm and discoloured from excessive use, so the expanded and updated edition is most welcome. I'm certainly looking forward to the second volume later in the year. I've always done lots of research on Clapton's music myself over the years, just out of my own interest, so it almost feels like cheating on my part to finally acquire a book with this depth of information!
Full credit to Marc Roberty for this wonderful achievement and the amount of work and dedication he has put into such a project.

On another topic, I just bought the new Bobby Whitlock compilation of his first two solo albums and it is well worth picking up. I'd never heard a copy of the first LP, so 40 years later it is great to finally have the chance to do that!

Cheers,
Jon

will be really chuffed to read that the song was covered by Eric "most notably with Johan Mayall on the Blues Breakers album." :) <<

Yes, I saw that, a minor mistake, an oversight. No, I wasn't chuffed and I'm sure Marc Roberty simply did not catch it while proofreading, and wishes that he had.
