Well thank all of you who've replied. Good to see some check-ins. Considering how active this digest once was, I can't imagine to see it fade this much...3 years ago yesterday and today were the Crossroads shows at Madison Square Garden for instance. Mr. Clapton is semi-retired, but he's still doing some things that certainly are interesting. There are 5 shows in Tokyo commencing tonight, there is a new album coming out, produced by none other than 1977's "Slowhand" producer Glyn Johns. This is certainly digest worthy! :-)

I'd like to think that although many topics have been covered extensively, there must be a few of us who would enjoy at least occasional input and contributions. There could be a modern spin on this really. In the interim since the digest got quieter, the internet world has evolved and there are some new options; youtube is vast with great clips which many people haven't seen that we could post, it's never been easier to post photos or video footage from shows we may have attended, and we can reference FB posts from the Eric Clapton page and "Where's Eric", etc, etc.

Come to think of it, perhaps this digest could be "mirrored" on it's own 'Slowhand Digest' FB page, to stay with the times. (?)

Either way, we should certainly check in from time to time! I remember when these came in every single day like clockwork...for years it seemed. Let's keep it going in some form or another...
Anyone in or going to Japan? (Wish I was ;-) ).
Best regards to all you SD'ers,
-Robert
