Guys, why is this a debating point? Clearly AM is ES, anyone who has listened to anything by Ed Sheeran can hear that.  
Ed Sheeran has always credited EC as an influence, to the point of appearing on stage with a copy of one of his Crash-o casters.
The only disappointing part of this is that ES was credited, he could bring some of his fan base of younger listeners to discover EC.
