<DIV><FONT face=Arial>As I'm one of those who still love Eric Clapton's
music and musicality I'd like add a viewpoint to this conversation.

<DIV><FONT face=Arial>Here's once again a quote from Mojo-Magazine
(issue 4) March 1994.<BR><BR>Tom Dowd (Atlantic engineer, producer of Cream,
Derek & Dominos and number of EC's solo albums) on Clapton:<BR><BR>"Eric
absolutely scared me in the Cream days. I saw Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie
and Fats Navarro; Eric was as fast as any jazz musician, a master of his
instrument.... he never played the same solo twice. As he got older I thought he
would slow down or fall into pattern - but he didn't.<BR>Now he scares me more
than ever: a monster, the complete performer. Band leader, player, singer,
songwriter - he's mastered every element!"<BR><BR>Keep on
growin'<BR>Olli<BR></DIV><!--endarticle--></FONT></BODY></HTML>
