This is no real surprise and I'm sure that this is the reason that =20
EC's been rigid in his setlists for so long. The casual "fans" who =20
come to see him only know what's played on the radio and think that =20
they should be able to dictate the material in the show.

 From what I remember hearing, Eric was also booed during the NBTB =20
tour since he didn't play hits. Now he decides to start mixing it up =20
by bringing back some classics, and he gets flayed alive for it. The =20
"tourists" would like nothing more than to hear just multiple =20
arrangements of "Wonderful Tonight" at every show.

In December '06, Robert Randolph was a guest on the Ron & Fez Show on=20
XM Satellite Radio, Ch. 202.

Robert Randolph said that Eric Clapton had contacted him about=20
appearing at a new Crossroads Guitar Festival to be held in Chicago=20
on July 7, 2007.

I have been trying to find out information about this, but can't find=20
any confirmation of what Randolph said about a '07 Crossroads=20
Festival.

Does anyone know anything about this? Will the festival be held in=20
conjunction with "Taste of Chicago", which is going on at this time?

Will the festival be held in Grant Park? In Soldier Field?

When will tickets be available?

Thanks for any info about the Crossroads Guitar Festival in Chicago=20
in '07.
