[StBernard] Murphy Oil Clarifications

Westley,

Murphy just called and asked a few different questions.  Most importantly
they wanted to know if they could take some samples.    It appears that they
are trying to minimize damages.  

I am currently trying to work out a contract that would help the landowners
as much as possible.  I hope to finalize a contract that would not make this
a class.  We would represent the individuals.  Once they sign a contract we
would file a claim with Murphy if they have not done so.  If Murphy makes
you an initial offer, we will review it and if it is accepted we will not
take any fees.  If they do not make an offer or it is too low we will take
over the claim and file suit if necessary.  We will limit our fees for this
to 18%.  I hope to open my office in the Parish later this week.  I will
operate 2 to 3 days a week without electricity fromm about 10 to 4.  I hope
to have the contracts for next Wed.

Ray Albert we will need an environmental company to run some tests to verify
or dispute Murphy's findings.  If  possible I would like to hire locals so
please give me a call.
