[StBernard] Friends and Neighbors

Syl,
In my neighborhood there were two houses gutted out of about 2 dozen. My
friends and neighbors aren't coming back.
Everyone has a reason for coming back or not.
Mr. Boss said something about traveling every weekend to see his former
neighbors if he moved. Well Mr. Boss if they are truly your friends they'll
come to visit you every other weekend.
My best friend lived next door to me,Bob of 
"Grassbusters" fame, and I miss him and his family. But he's not going back
to Chalmette. I lived in the same house for 28 years,and in the Parish for
40 years, but I wasn't born in the parish. My wife and I bought a home in
Violet when we got married. She was 20 and I was 21. Not returning is a
difficult thing to do ,but we feel it's best...for us.
