 You know, I wrote the producers, etc. there at Oprah.com. Have you noticed
that each show "focuses" on those from the Superdome and Convention Center
Crowd"?  I'd be willing to bet that Oprah, in her infinite wealth and
wisdom" is "race-siding" with the "inner-core" as if no whites were
affected. Every one that she's been seen around, interviewing, etc.. Has
been a "horse of a different color" to speak. Being ethnocentric at a time
like this, when St. Bernard and other communities have been suffering to the
hilt along with the unfortunate Superdome crowd is unspeakable. 

Everyone I speak with outside of the parish has been given the impression
that this horrific event did not touch people who were not shown on the
liberal TV show/press, etc. They are "shocked" to see that someone (and may
I say as a displaced, citizen, delegate of our great community's plight) who
seeked refuge (oh yes, I AM a refugee!) looks different from what propaganda
is spreading through the land. Just last week, the same brain-wash technique
of showing where her 10 million will be used for..was exhibited in a
propaganda episode, showing the "dark-side" of things as poor unfortunates
when I can bet, non-of-her-money was sent into our parish for assistance.
(or at least I'd like to know if it has)..

It if was an "untold story", then it means that our parish has been never
forgotten as MUCH as it has never been even introduced as one that has
greater needs beyond what we've seen on TV.

Oh, the humanity of it...
