This is to caution  those who sent in the demo request forms with 
Community Development that it is possible that their form didn't get 
recorded. My father and mother-in-law went together three weeks after 
the parish started accepting the demo forms to file theirs. Katrina has 
taught us that snafus happen everyday in every way. So my father, being 
a believer in Murphy's Law, checked with Community Development to make 
sure that both his houses weres on record as having requested 
demolition. Oddly enough, although they went there at the same time, my 
father's two houses were nowhere on record for demo, yet my mother in 
law's form was. He filled out new forms for these two houses.

Craig, if this happened to one out of 1000 homeowners, it probably has 
happened to others. When the time comes, perhaps the parish can advise 
the homeowners through the media  that houses will be marked for demo 
by a certain date, and if that mark isn't on the house and you sent in 
the form, go back to Comm. Dev. and do it again.
