One, if people are paying $2000 to eat a plate of dried chicken and frozen
peas, you can bet they'll may be expecting a 2000% return on their money.
They're not eating out of paper plates <g>, but anyone sitting at these
tables allegedly could be getting a rate of investment back which will be
seem unbelievable to most of us.

Two, if JR runs and gets elected, there could be a mad dash to place for
sale signs on the remaining homes. People are looking for new blood,
untarnished reputations with solid planning and less contraversy for their
futures. So much has been lost and God knows guidance is what they need with
someone who has a bright insight to the future of St. Bernard Parish. Look
to see a knock-down dragged out fight by others who believe they can beat JR
come election time. Perhaps JR has had his opportunity which might prompt
citizens to look for one who has vision will bring the new St. Bernard into
the public's eye as great as it can be. Perhaps one who is not too old, can
get around more and spend time "mending fences", making contacts and seeking
great things for those who wish to make the parish their future from the
Phoenix's ashes.

(though no support here), but we'll have to listen to their spiel when they
butt heads next year. People do not have short memories of Katrina and its
aftermath. They, in much detail, will recall what they've witnessed this
past year and act accordingly when it's their turn to speak.
