Now Wes,

My understanding, now I'm wrong correct me, the homes were built around
the same time supposedly fro the workers who work the plant. Don't get me
wrong, if we were discussing traffic, trucks, or noise, I would agree.
However, I know that when the plant was built they did not tell the public
"by the way we will be releasing harmful vapors in the air that will giver
people higher than normal rates of cancer" Like you said you expected
traffic, but what if the school chemistry lab started releasing poison into
the air. That would in no way be part of the "normal" expectations in living
in the vicinity of a school. Jobs, noise traffic, are all reasonable and
justifiable casualties for living near an oil refinery. However, death I
don't think, was in the brochures.
