Hey Laurie,

good thought- I had already been in touch with City of Hope and the
pastoral committee assisting in the selection of applications for homes.
The applications can be picked up at the council office now. When I get
the information from Janet, i will forward it as well.

God Bless,
Craig

Janet,

I was really touched by the situation your poor parents are in. Maybe
you
could go talk to the people at Habitat for Humanity and I think they are

working with City of Hope. I have never been there before and I don't
know
where it is but it is in St. Bernard. Does Craig or anyone know where
this
place is located? I have a friend that is handicapped and raising a
couple
of kids and he is waiting and waiting for Road Home money that may never

come so he went and talked to this group and they are going to build him
a
house on his lot since his house had to be demolished. Maybe they would
do
the same for your parents since you own a lot next to your house. Your
parents are obviously in great need. This is just something to maybe
try
for them. They claim to build the houses really fast. Or maybe this
group

may be able to get someone to donate a mobile home for them. This group

also donates building material and appliances but it is all need based.

Just a thought.

Laurie
