A very positive step towards returning our parish to a somewhat normal
status.  I would like to suggest that the demos begin with those homes that
have not been gutted, then on to any properties located along Judge Perez
and St. Bernard Highway, the to those that have been gutted, but tagged for
demolition.   A trip along along JPD ans SBH is the first, and perhaps only,
appearance to those driving into the parish.  Has a target date been set for
trailers in the subdivisions?  I can understand where work is being
performed, so perhaps the date could be August 29, 2008.  I have noticed at
least five trailers that are on properties and either no work has been
started on the home, or the trailers are sitting there vacant.
 
I hope that you can keep up the pace, and I only wish that we could have put
you in office long ago.
