Hmm, I must have fallen asleep during that portion of the liberal propaganda
machine <smile> Darn! More of da same the next 3 nights until it culminates
in me upchucking on the final night. You know, the one when/where the
genuflection begins, the crowning of St. O'Bam-A into sainthood and human
worship for the "Chosen One" (what blasphemy!)..

Can't wait for the superb action on Sept. 1st.

(geez, I never, ever thought that Hillary was one of my choices for
Democratic candidacy).

NEW ORLEANS - The opening night of the Democratic National Convention in
Denver will feature a little bit of the Bayou. Watch The Story

Jazz singer Margie Perez, a Musicians Village resident, will take the
microphone midway through the evening's agenda and have the opportunity to
address delegates gathered at the Pepsi Center.

She will be followed by a videotaped presentation hosted by former president
Jimmy Carter. The video was recorded in New Orleans and will be "dedicated
to remembering the devastation of Hurricane Katrina," a top Democratic
official said.

The convention is taking place in the days leading up to the third
anniversary of Katrina's landfall near New Orleans.

Monday night's featured speaker will be Michelle Obama, wife of presumptive
presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama.
