[StBernard] St. Claude bridge work postponed due to weather

St. Claude Avenue Bridge Closure Postponed until May 30-31, 2009:
Repair work scheduled for May 23rd-24th at the St. Claude Avenue Bridge has
been postponed due to impending rain and possible severe weather.
Therefore, there will be no traffic closures at the bridge during Memorial
Day weekend.  The work has been re-scheduled for the weekend of May
30th-31st and will require closure of the bridge to marine traffic and
closure of one westbound vehicular lane for 36 consecutive hours between
6:00 AM on Saturday, May 30, 2009 and 11:59 PM on Sunday, May 31, 2009.
This work will also require periodic closure of both westbound lanes for up
to one hour during the 36-hour period to facilitate the work.  In the event
of inclement weather or any condition that causes rescheduling, alternate
dates will be announced.
