Man arrested for using machete to rob victims

Chalmette, La. - St. Bernard deputies have arrested a man who was robbing
people by threatening his victims with a machete. 

The suspect, identified as 35-year old Dicarlo Young is accused of two armed
robberies.  Investigators say he used a machete to get his victims to
surrender their wallets.  Sheriff-elect James Polhmann says the latest
robbery happened Tuesday morning, as the victim was attempting to rent a
movie from a video box rental in Chalmette.

Young was arrested shortly afterwards at his mother's home in Marrero.
Pohlmann says Young  has served time in prison for manslaughter.
